Healthcare and Clinical Services is a pathway within the Health Sciences cluster that provides students with both classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences designed to introduce them to the healthcare field. The program follows the framework outlined in the National Career Clusters Framework and the National Consortium on Health Science Education (NCHSE).

Through this pathway, students explore a wide range of healthcare careers. These include nursing services such as registered nurses, practical nurses, home health aides, and nurse aides; therapeutic services such as athletic trainers, respiratory therapists, and dietitians; and diagnostic services such as radiologic technicians, sonographers, and medical laboratory technicians. Students are also introduced to careers in health informatics, emergency services, veterinary services, pharmacy, counseling, and mental health services.

Through this pathway, students gain foundational knowledge and skills that help prepare them for continued education and future careers in healthcare. The program also allows students to begin exploring a variety of career opportunities within one of the nation's most in-demand fields.
