Students across Simpson County School District started the year with extra support thanks to a generous donation from the Season of Service Ministry, founded by Jered Smith. Backpacks filled with school supplies were delivered to the district to be distributed among students in need.
The backpacks were shared with schools across the district and provided to Pre-K through 8th grade students, helping ensure that more children were equipped with the tools necessary for a successful school year.
Representing the ministry were Jayden Smith and Jayda Smith, Jered’s younger siblings, who helped deliver the backpacks to district staff.
